Envoy Textiles Limited has been a pioneer in green manufacturing, incorporating a biophilic approach to industrial development and integrating LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) into its denim manufacturing journey. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED® is one of the world's most widely recognized standards for sustainable and high-performance buildings and operations.

Envoy Textiles began its journey toward LEED® certification in 2013 and in 2016 became the world's first LEED® Platinum-certified denim mill, achieving a score of 80. This milestone achievement reflected the company's strong commitment to environmental performance and responsible manufacturing across key areas including sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, innovation and regional priority.

In 2021, Envoy Textiles achieved LEED® v4 Platinum certification with a score of 100 out of 110 marking a significant achievement in its sustainability journey. This achievement demonstrated continued progress in energy efficiency, water stewardship, resource conservation, environmental performance, and sustainable manufacturing practices.

Today, Envoy Textiles is progressing through its third LEED® renewal process, with an expanded scope that includes its spinning operation.
